HOW DOES PADEL BAND WORK

Padel Band consists of two main elements. On the one hand, there is the physical device that incorporates a variety of electronic sensors and is attached to the handle of the racket. On the other hand, we find the mobile app designed to manage the device and present the results in a clear way.

Padel Band is linked via Bluetooth Low Energy to your cell phone, which enables a login to start collecting data in a simple and convenient way. At the end of your match or training, you just have to stop the session from your mobile device. This will allow the data to be transmitted to our servers, where it will be meticulously processed so that you can access your results visually.

GAME ANALYSIS & DATAS DETAILS

Our partners team from Padel Band have structured these metrics in two fundamental sections. First, we have the analysis of the session, whether it is a training session or a match. In this section, we start by calculating general metrics, such as calories burned, number of steps taken and number of strokes taken. In addition, we also consider highly padel-specific metrics, such as the individual count of different types of strokes (forehand, backhand, volleys, backhands, backhands, lobs, among others), the average quality of the execution of these strokes on a scale of 1 to 7, and the temporal distribution of the strokes performed.

This session-level analysis provides the basis for the second set of metrics, which focus on your personal data as a player. This is where your style of play, whether offensive or defensive, is identified, your most effective stroke and the one that requires the most improvement is determined, and your overall skill level as a player is established. This data is condensed into what we call your "player card", a visual summary that reflects your evolution and progress in your career as a padel player.
