The women's game has been just as competitive as the men's heading into 2026, with one dominant pair and a genuine challenger pushing them close all season. Here's who's leading the field.

Gemma Triay & Delfina Brea

The world's top pair since 2025, with nine titles won together. Triay, born in 1992 on the Spanish island of Menorca, has finished four separate seasons as the world's number one woman even before teaming up with Brea, an Argentine known for her clean finishing at the net.

Paula Josemaría & Beatriz González

Triay-Brea's closest rivals, and the pair that's already beaten them twice in 2026, at the Miami P1 and the Asunción P2. Josemaría already made history in 2024 alongside a different partner, Ariana Sánchez, becoming part of the most decorated women's pair in padel history. González, known as "Bea", joined forces with Josemaría in 2026 after splitting from her previous partner, Claudia Fernández.

Ariana Sánchez

Born in Reus in 1997 and known as "Ari", Sánchez has finished the season as world number one twice, in 2023 and 2024. She now plays alongside Andrea Ustero after her historic run with Paula Josemaría.

Claudia Fernández & Sofía Araujo

Fernández, born in Madrid in 2006, became the youngest player in the sport's history to win a title, at just 18 years old. She now partners with Araujo, a Lisbon-born, left-side specialist who's spent her career among the tour's most consistent top-10 players.
